A delicious recipe for clams in a rich white wine sauce, featuring garlic, shallots, and red pepper flakes, perfect as a seafood dinner or appetizer served with crusty bread.
Clean and prep clams. In a large pot add olive oil and butter. Once butter is melted add in your shallots, garlic, red pepper flakes, and parsley stems. Cook until shallots are translucent/soft. Squeeze in half a lemon. Add in your chicken broth and white wine. Once it’s to a simmer add in your clams. Cover for about 8-10 minutes. Discard any clams that have not opened. Top with chopped parsley. Serve with crusty/toasted bread and lemon wedges.
